no, sorry! whats that
and AC/DC are meant to be bringing out another album. and yes-angus is still wearing those shorts...😛
Hmm... Didn't really like 'Sabotage,' but "Ill Communication" and "Hello Nasty" were pretty good as albums.
But alas, I hope the Boys can still make an album as good as "Check Your Head" or "Paul's Boutique."
*crosses fingers*
I'm going to go buy the new album in about 10 minutes. I'll post a little review here after I listen to it...
WOW! I haven't heard the whole thing yet, but so far it's a non-stop thrill ride! Here's a sample:
Stop building SUV's strung out on OPEC.
Hold up, wait up
You know we come correct.
You wanna change things up?
Well, hey, just get set.
It's easier to sit back than stick out your neck.
It's easier to break things than build it correct
We've got a president we didn't elect
(but he does look hot in a flight suit)
The Kyoto treaty he decided to neglect,
and still the U.S. just wants to flex
Keep doin' that wop we gonna break our necks
It takes a second to wreck it
it takes time to build
you gotta chill
Hate-filled people wanna keep us in check
Tearin' down each other is what they expect
If you want love, well, hey, that's a bet
We've got to give before we can get.
Wow, lol, they've grown up a lot since "Liscensed To Ill". I'm surprised none of you have mentioned "Paul's Bountique" (sp). That's considered by many music critics to the Beastie Boys best album. I think "Liscensed To Ill" is better only cause it was the first cd I bought I guess, but that's still a really good album. And it's nice to see the Beastie Boys are still able to shine after, what, 20 years in the business. Anyone heard a big hit from Run-DMC lately? 🙂

A word of warning for non-UK non-USA folks who might have or be considering this CD: it has malware installed on it ("Aggressive DRM", otherwise known as "illegal" but they've done it anyway.)
