Not old. Rather a contemporary practice of high priced lawyers employed by banks, credit card companies, etc., in the boilerplate of stuff you recieve in the mail but are too busy to read. Nothing clever about it in the least. Focuses on simplistic bait potentially damaging to the overly trusting/vulnerable around the globe and on internet sites. By definition, less about being fooled than being wise and alert. Popular big print, easy to read threads are a dime a dozen. Only a few, a mere handful are true.
