The big print always gives...

Yeah. The big print most always gives, while the fine print takes away.

You awake, focused, discerning, reading between the lines... or wut?

Hopscotch to the rescue! Translating GB posts so you won't have to!

Translated:
Here's an old saying about being fooled.
Post about it if you think it's clever. I want to have a thread.

Hopscotch Untranslation:

Not old. Rather a contemporary practice of high priced lawyers employed by banks, credit card companies, etc., in the boilerplate of stuff you recieve in the mail but are too busy to read. Nothing clever about it in the least. Focuses on simplistic bait potentially damaging to the overly trusting/vulnerable around the globe and on internet sites. By definition, less about being fooled than being wise and alert. Popular big print, easy to read threads are a dime a dozen. Only a few, a mere handful are true.

So what is the point having a thread about something that everyone already knows? The Encyclopaedia of Common Sense can never be written down.

You're finally in over your head, Hop. Question facing me is save him or help him drown.

Decisions with friends are made easily. Chose to let you continue merrily on your way.

Your statements do not answer the question which you replied to because you have no clear answer. You pretend to be mysterious and wise but you only come across as pretentious and boring. Your veiled threat only shows you to be exactly what you are and why the majority on this site so readily take issue with you.

You speak of making a decision of my fate. Well I made a decision long time ago about your fate, I decided to allow you to continue merrily on your way. I shall continue to do so now, but only because arguing with you is both as boring and futile as arguing with Very Rusty. You two have a lot in common. Both of you impede the free flow of information here. You should know that.

Lateral support group/majority point of view reference,

uncharacteristic tone insensitivity, lack of poise noted.
