I appear to have been a little out of the loop - have the Cheat Police started their aggressive policing action? Has anyone been proven to be a cheat and banned from the site?
For something that was so important to so many people a while back, things appear to have gone a little quiet...

Nothing against Phla, but I don't think a 1400 rater like me can do the game moderator or whatever analisis of games of 2100+ players.
Originally posted by RavelloI don't think it's too much of a surprise to see that anyone who discussed and analyzed games in the forums (FW included) in a public fashion has been left off the team. At least, it doesn't surprise me.

Originally posted by arrakisWell its fair to say Grayeyes did all the hard work didnt he, he's the one who did all the analysis, looked at all the games, while all the others (no need to mention names, lol) just grabbed his coat tails and hung on for the ride.

But then on the other hand he did like to shoot his mouth off, and had a bad habbit of losing his temper, thats a shame, because from the point of view of an engine boy, Grayeyes is your worst nightmare, he can spot engine use from a mile away :-)

As a new user I have noticed that sometimes when playing a player at black or white the person plays like a kid on one colour and like a champion on the other. I'm certainly not good enough to speak up.
But engine use aside; some users are using timeouts to win more than half their games by setting no time bank and 1 day moves. They play a few moves start to lose then play one move a day hoping to get a time out. One such guy called for resignation after about six moves.. three moves and three days later he resigned. Maybe we need a time out police? (This person was very annoying)
Originally posted by Tirau DanI hear ya, but all you can do is NEVER PLAY THE PERSON AGAIN! As lame as it might seem, they have every right to set a game time limit, and if they slow down, it is up to you to time them out. If they move within the time limit, they are well in their right to move every 3 days in a 3 day game... 7 days in a 7 day game... etc.
