These guys are the real deal. I haven't seen them live, though they've come through Big D a number of times.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but what's great about this group? Keeping in mind the
poor quality of some of the recordings, I don't hear anything remarkable about them. Their
riffs are ordinary, the vocals are unimaginative, the chord progressions formulaic, even the shock
value of some of their lyrics is undistinguished.

What exactly am I missing?

The lead singer has a good voice and there's an overall cheerful high energy vibe. I'm not amazed but it's pleasant.
