It's not really that amazing of an achievement. I believe out of 32 teams only 18 actually have one or more Super Bowl wins.

Houston has never even been a participant in a Super Bowl

The Lions are the only franchise which was in existence when the Super Bowl started who have never played in one.

Technically that is true, but Houston has never had a Super Bowl participant.
The Titans were in Tennessee and the Texans were in Houston at that time.

It's the triangle of Doom.

Detroit, Cleveland, and Cincinnati.

All those who enter may as well lose all hope.

Cincinnati lost to the Niners.
Jags, Lions, browns, and Texans are the only 4 not to get there yet.
The Browns had a chance but they moved to Baltimore.
