I really really really really REALLY want to suscribe to this site but the current exchange rate means that I'll end up paying a small fortune. I just wanted to hear from anyone else who might be having this same problem because it's been driving me nuts. How long might it take the exchange rate to fluctuate in my favour?
Thanks

You're an Aussie, aren't you? The exchange rate at the moment is considered very good. Anything in the high .70s is great, I believe. I wouldn't advise holding your breath for a big improvement.

Consider yourself lucky, mate; our dollar was around .20 cents less when I subscribed.

Surely the US$ can't get any cheaper than it is at the moment? Believe me, this is a problem for me too!

What are you talking about a small fortune? This site is the best deal on the net. Quit being a cheapskate and buy a goddamn pawn star.

How's that for a recruiting technique?

I'm no cheapskate. I'm fresh out of high school and right now, every dollar I have goes toward further education and a car and other annoying but essential things like that. (besides, I'm not the richest person you ever saw) To make it worse, we only get about 42 UK cents (pence?) for 1 Australian dollar. Which means I'd be paying more than twice the cost. If the exchange rate was a little better I'd spend the money.

But wait - considering what Russ said: "Surely the US$ can't get any cheaper than it is at the moment?" - does that mean I can pay in US dollars? That would make it better. But I don't have a credit card so I'd have to pay Russ by money order in UK currency would I? Now I'm confused.
