Okay, from now on I'm going to ask you to explain and make sense of GB's posts, as you gave him this award you're now going to have to support your decision.

Let's start with this one from Thread 126026:

End of January, 2010, Coming to Terms... beginning to dawn that the dominant basis of many of our decisions may be far less vol ...[text shortened]... s full of desire and clothed with warm and fuzzy habits, don't you think?

Explain.
Huh? I thought in some ways his post was quite funny. I'll admit the guy is a tad bit wordy at times. His writing style, and playing chess also, is a little crazy. You need to think whilst reading a GB post, but he usually has something to say, and does it with metaphors and such.

To me the post you say you're struggling with simply says... that adulthood is seriously overrated and that it seems to take all of us forever to grow up. Think the post also comes across like a cartoon about touchy adults who never graduate from childhood and behave more like children or puppy dogs their whole life, though they're not as bright.

Always understood the word to have originated with labor unions, as in... pro-vacation benefits.

Hop, Mr. Cold quietly takes considerable crap from his few enemies as well as from his numerous friends but seiously doubt he's very often taken one dimensional bait from anyone.
Mr. Bobby, I seriously doubt Mr. Cold need you to leap to his defence.

Okay:

Here's your post, summarised even further:

Adulthood is overrated
There are adults who never graduate from childhood but they're dumb.

As GB hasn't disagreed with your interpretation then you must be correct.

I interpreted it to mean:

I AM AN INDIVIDUAL AND I LIKE NICE THINGS.

Feel free to read the text again and disagree.

The next GB quote will be coming for your translation soon.

He doesn't in the least. Simply seized an opportunity to give you a little friendly tweak

Isn't it incredibly wonderful that we're all so very much the same and yet,

simultaneously, so incredibly different. Without our differences, how dull.

Know you well enough, Hop, to know you jest. You're one of the strong (even with mud on your boots).

No need for formality, you can call me Ice or by my first name. 🙂
