I know, but I was too lazy to leave the house. Also, I already have several pictures from past years of the midnight sun without that stupid house in the way, and the sky wasn't particularly interesting last night. It's only the beginning of the midnight sun season, so I hope I'll get many more chances to take better pictures of it.

reminds me of the 5000 year old tombs at newgrange in ireland, where the sun shines through to the inner chanber only on the solstice.
