Well, it is true. Also Czech Republic are ranked second, so there ye go. It's a funny old game. 🙄

If we actually were kicking money into a pool I might predict differently. Or are we kicking in money? Does everyone send $100 to Russ to hold, anything like that?

They are ranked 5th...for some strange reason! It is because FIFA's method of ranking is poor to say the least. The U.S.A play Caribean and central american teams in qualifying which isn't exactly challenging. So they win most of their games, and score a lot of goals (I guess) which apparently puts them right up there with Brazil, Italy, England and Argentina?!🙄🙄🙄🙄

Maybe we should take this discussion to another thread. We need more entries...

Anyone else reading this, have a look at the first page and GET GUESSING!

Don't underestimate the Czech team. They are solid and have a lot of very good players. They'd be my outside bet for winners.

Well, I was going to wait for ore results to come in, so that I can make a more informed prediction. Not that I'm any good at informed decisions.

That is surprising. What about Canada? I was kind of surprised that Canada isn't somewhere in the mix. Again, I never paid much attention before this year ... except for the years when Pele was a star ... but I sort of figured Canada would have a decent team.

Rosicky

Baros

Despite being underdogs, its a class team, and I expect them to win against Italy.

edit: spelt Rosicky right.

I think he just read the minute-by-minute action.

If you want to see the matches live, try PPStream. You can stream CCTV5 or CCTV1 (chinese) and watch the matches.
