But in this world of "what have you done for me lately", What have you done for me lately? I mean the thread moved me and all, but tha was an hour or so ago, now I feel an empty void. What else is there to live for in the forums. how do you top the greatest thread evah? What can be said to make forums worth reading? Another boring great story? You can almost picture him in 10....hours or so lying drunk at the corner of the bar, and people walking past him laughing, saying
"thats the guy who did that great thread, look at him now"
, or
"whatever happened to him, didn't he do that amazing thread".

What better way to give tribute to such an astonishing and enlightening entertaining thread full of such glorious memories of nostalgia but to give it fare the well and finally put it to rest so that generations forever can look back and say "what a thread", and do so before someone goes in and assaults it with boring drivel. I say it's the right thing to do. The greats should always go out leaving the audience wanting more. Only the good die young.
