Had a friend whose band got to open for The Mighty Mighty Bostones(sp?) in a smallish club. It was his big moment and he was ready to sieze it. He wasn't nervous in the least.

He got hit in the nuts with a glass ashtray 1/2 way through the first set.

All I got for playing in an Irish pub in our band was being plied
with Irish coffees. It would have been better had I actually liked
coffee....
