There was a Brit Newbie once (an amater golfer when not playing chess) who got so excited while making his first opening move that he let forth with, Hear Ye, Hear Ye-4! And then one fine day, an attractive young lady (an Ex-Nun by trade) came into our lives. Posting her first time on the Only Chess Forum, she confused Pawn Promotion with her own Second Conversion, quite against the will of the other Sister Nuns. Her nickname was "Seeingandbeingseeninmynewlyacquiredhabitandhabitat2012". Recently, timid GB had an idea for a thread while he was in The Little Room showering, shaving and performing his other unmentionable morning ablutions. Topic struck him as so silly that he almost fell off the customary bench upon which he was sitting. Hence, a new thread was born.
