There's not a whole lot of medieval warfare entheusiasts in here, eh? I give props to you guys who answered, especially Adam. Warhammers are the schiznit in my book too, even though I don't use them. Been away for a few days and you all have been very busy in here! To answer some of the questions:
The toughest people I have played here are royalchicken and
Obi Wan II. I'm still hopeful in my game with royalchicken, but I tell you truthfully that he is very good and probably my better.
As a short solution to the war, may I suggest assassination? If it is the leader we want, and we truly believe the people wish to be liberated I would opt to assissinate the leader (i.e. use of special forces and covert operations) or to supply rebel factions with the capabilities to overthrow the government (i.e. supplies, intelligence, training). I admit that the latter options has produced as many dictators as it has eliminated. As opposed to the current international taboo of assassinating a leader, I would rather see "guidelines" established. I must also admit that assassination poses the possibility of retalitory assassinations and imposters. Nonetheless, I view it to be a more humane and just solution.
As to the cinema awards, I think the people who used their time in the light to speak against what they feel is an unjust war are admirable. I was very disappointed to see the subsequent remarks made in response to their speach. I hope I would feel this way even if I was a war supporter. I give mad props to anyone who speaks out peacefully about what they feel is wrong.
