This comes a little late for which I apologise, but if you have access to BBC Radio 4 (available on
the net I believe), there's a great reading of a book about a chess automaton – 'The Mechanical
Turk' by Tim Standage – on for the rest of the week at 24:30 GMT

Everyone here should get the book-- it's a fascinating read.
