Here it is, Spring Break, and I am in Florida (I live here), one of the hottest places to be for spring break. and I am stuck at work at a hotel that is surrounded by people so old, I get stories from the Herbert Hoover era.

I sit idly by, just waiting for anyone to come by and say hi, not sure who or what they may want or need. The best entertainment I have going is a laptop and a stereo. So I put on my country music and just start typing.
Spring Break doesn't have the same thrill for me as would most. I guess it partly because I have been surrounded by all it has to offer for most of my life. but mostly due to the fact that I love my wife more than anything.
I should also be thankful for not having any spring breakers staying at my hotel this year. The parties that have to be broken up are never what you see on TV or the movies. For the most part, its just a bunch of underage wannabe thinking that its cool to go out and party and tell their parents that they won't. Drinking so much and so many different kinds of alcohol, that they end up puking all over themselves, the furniture, and anything else that gets in the way. Makes me wonder where I ever saw a thrill in this.

Now I know that I am a member of InVino, and I do enjoy a drink or 2, but to say I enjoyed being absolutely blasted out of my mind to where memory as well as my physical well being are hampered immensely, would be an outragous lie. That is not to say I haven't gotten to these points before, Because I have.

I guess that e all need to learn these lessons in life.

If you are wondering and before it get says, there was no real point to this, I am just bored.

Laudable semtiments, KJ - wife, geezers, drunken punks... 😛 Sign a couple up as potential In Vino members - they'll never remember... and Russ'll be happy for the new Subs.

Could be worse... Moldy could be there 🙄 Maybe he is, what with his approaching geezerhood and all...
