The Blair Witch Project thread got me thinking of this - the film gave me motion sickness.
Probably the daftest (in everyone else's eyes) decision I ever made was forking out $300 for a deep-sea albacore tuna fishing trip off the Pacific coast of Washington with a bunch of guys from work. I get badly sea-sick (it stopped me joining the Royal Navy as a weapons electronics officer) and so does my Dad, who was in the Navy for 25 years. But I thought the excitement of hauling in 20 lb thrashing tuna would keep my mind off it and that the sea would be calm.
All was calm as we sailed out into the evening sun but when I woke up at 6am the next day to a good swell I knew I was doomed. I managed to stay on deck to catch a single fish then had to retire to my bunk for the next 36 hours until we reached the dock again.
Probably the most expensive tuna ever caught :-)
It's not the worst decision but it was a baaaddd mistake.
I went Deep-Sea fishing for the first time and on the way out I put on sunscreen lotion because I heard that the sun is much stronger out there than normal. It took a while to get out there and when we did I was quite excited to get started. I slipped out of my shoes so that I was more comfortable and began fishing...(do you see where this is going yet?) After about 4 hours we began heading back. I was winding down and decided to slip my shoes back on. It was then that I realized my mistake. I hadn't put sunscreen on my feet and they were terribly burnt. I couldn't wear shoes/ sandal/ flip-flops/ or even socks for several days.
I'll never do that again!! 😉
My worst decision ever was going to make a piss while playing here, in company of a (she) friend (when did you see a woman going alone to the bathroom 🙂) ... When I return to my computer, I was timed out! Hehe!
Just kidding people! 😀😀😀

P.S.: I'd wish that a little touch of humor is allowed, isn't it? 🙄
