The sutuation in the NFL can be summed up in one word: Arrogence. Owners and Players are both vastly overpaid, don't care about there fans, and need a reality check here. Both sides have lost sight of the fact that there loyal fan base is becoming less and less loyal with each passing week this "situation" drags on.
I think an excellent outcome here would be a prolonged work stoppage (4-5 years) By about 2016 the league, and players will be broke, and will have to start over with a new league. This will be great for pro football fans, because ticket prices will be lower, both sides will be more humble, and pro football will be more like a "game" again!😏
