Can anybody explain the phenomena that is "Hilary Duff"? I mean how does someone so talentless perform to sold out shows all of the time?? Is it because the music industry is fuelled by 13 old girls???
The reason I'm asking is because it blows my mind when I hear bands like hers make it & bands like my friends not ... Check'em out at www.thesteadystate.com & let me know if it is just me that has bad taste in music.
Thanks,
D

People have said that I bowl like an angel ... I especially like disco bowling ... You know when they dim the lights & crank up the disco ball & turn on the black lights ... Ahhh, I'm in heaven (a little drunk too!!!).

The music is cool, and I am sure they are much better than Hilary Duff... I've NEVER heard her, thank Bowling! I think this band sounds a lot like System of a Down... or they sound like another band that sounds like System of a Down?

I think there's your answer...
Unfortunately, music purchasing is not governed by music alone...

Originally posted by Joe Fistlol. Yeah your right ... That was definitely not the best photo to be advertising, but ... I guess with these guys you'll find them to be a bit more organic and rough on the edges ... Oh well, I appreciate your comment.

Note to self: Take that hideous photo off web site.
P.S. What about the music???

"Phenomena" is plural.
I might be able to explain the phenomena that are "Hilary Duff" and "Avril Lavigne", and I might be able to explain the phenomenon that is "Hilary Duff", but I can't do the thing you said.
Sorry. This is a despicable post and I hate myself for posting it.
But it's my job.
It's tough being a police officer.
You want to understand the phenomenon? Here it is. Hillary Duff, Britany Spears, Backstreet Boys, and In Sinc have all been produced by the same company, the same guy writes every one of thier songs, and they are promoted by the same people. They obviously have found a (however annoying) formula for sucess and are will continue to repeat the process as long as they keep turing profits.
Oh, and in regards to someone's earlier comment, I don't believe you can group American Idol in the mix. Yeah they use hot young people to help draw a crowd, but at least most all of the can sing.
