I'm disappointed, I was hoping to read about The Pointles.
He may have tried a knife to sharpen it once before but had only cut his pencil in half. and now has to wonder how to get it sharpened.

I am thinking he wants to write the pointless letter to everyone but without having a point on his pencil has been unable to do so.
Now he has used a pointless thread to ask all who read it to help him in his plight to get a sharpener. Personally I think he would be better off on the street corner with a sign that reads"will work for lead"
I wish him well in his quest for a point on his pencil and maybe, just maybe someone will get him his ever needed sharpener and this will turn into a happy ending.
