Why is life like that?

I reckon it's lack of experience in those situations.

Played a 10 vs 10 match and we lost 8-2.

I had the win but time trouble rattled me and I blundered.

If you're going to play competitive chess with only 3 minutes on the clock I suggest you use a computer and not a phone.

I played in an OTB rapid tournament in 2019 and won it.
Last year they ran it again for the first time following covid. I got an invite and came second to last. Can't do the fast stuff anymore. Brain must be shot.

True and the pressure of must win scenarios are for all things.

I'm sure others here have competed in other events and the pressure made them crack.

t-g, Small issue here that year hasn't come yet. Perhaps you still have time to change the date. 🙂
