😠 Can it really be worth seeing nothing but stuff you'd rather not even see 😠

Appointment -$78.00

Immediate access to temporary vision - $42.50 (3 pair of disposable contacts)

Lenses for old pair of frames - $388.00

$508.50!!!!!!

And not even a little eye candy thrown in for good measure. 😠
sorry mokko... I think that I was living in the third world.
Are you speaking of canadian dollars? 🙁
I must to renew my lenses. That will cost me about $50 plus the consult with the oftalmologist (sp?) That makes a total of $100 (pesos argentinos). In US dollars it would be US$33... Somewhat more in Canada. But $500 is an aberration!! :'(

That sounds very profitable somehow. Buy from Argentina and sell to Canadians.

Are you joking, no? I'm sure you are 🙂
Con la salud no se juega.
This means: we can't play with the health (nor make profits).

If only someone would tell that to the Healthcare industry in the United States. 😕 Thugs.

The best pair of Glasses I have ever had came from a Dollar General Store. I paid one dollar. I may be slightly cross eyed now. But I see just fine. Ha ha.

I can see clearly now the rain has gone.......
I can see all dustballs in my way......

Think I was better off bumping into walls than having to see just how dirty a kitchen floor can become in a week. 🙁

Could have hired a maid for less than what it's cost me to do it myself. 😞

Are you kidding, no? Aren't you?
Your health has priority. You have to take care of yourself and family.
It is sad to have to pay for your own health, but health market exist and is one of the more cruel ones.
1. First is your health.
2. Then comes your family.
3, Thanks God you have one. Protect them protecting yourself. It is priceless!

Actually I was a nervous wreck today. I've been putting off going because of the cost. I'm gonna kinda miss the hours of entertainment of pulling gobs of goop out of my eyesocket. I though for sure I had damaged it beyond repair.

Word of wisdom to all contact wearers....

They really aren't joking when they say NEVER sleep in your contacts (especially over an extended period of time)
And definately don't keep 1 year contacts for 3 years.

😞

And I should state that if I wasn't such a poor excuse for a grown up I'd have filled out all the appropriate forms long ago and saved myself a few hundred bucks. I think need a secretary. 😳
