This is a game designed to be far cooler than the WAG. Here are the rules:

A poster posts the number of a thread in the public forums.

The next poster posts the number of a thread which contains a post written by someone who posted something in the thread referenced by the previous poster.

When the number of posts in this thread is equal to the highest current thread ID, we'll know the forums are connected, in the sense of 'Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon'.

I'll start:

39436

EDIT: I forgot: no repetition allowed.

EDIT @wucky3: The first number referred to this thread. Hopscotch posted the 'Hodge Conjecture' thread (since I've posted in both). I then picked chancremechanic out of the posters in that thread, clicked his profile, viewed all of his posts, and picked one of the threads. I suppose we could start direct-linking all of our posts; I don't see why the rub has to lie therein.

http://www.timeforchess.com/board/showthread.php?threadid=
Fill in the thread number at the end. And if you don't use TFC, replace "timeforchess" with whatever you use.
