I’m doing up this one...have to run to the garden for the thyme...

Gin Griffey Juniper

2 ounces gin
5 ounces tonic
½ ounce lemon-thyme shrub (see below)
Fruits, twigs and berries — whatever you can forage!
Serve over ice in the biggest wineglass you have … you need it these days.

Lemon-Thyme Shrub

2 lemons
1 cup sugar
1 bunch fresh thyme
¼ cup apple cider or white wine vinegar (or champagne vinegar, if you want to get fancy)
Peel lemons into thick ribbons and add peels into a container with a cup of sugar. Muddle the peel in the sugar and let sit for at least two hours or leave in the fridge overnight. Add ¾ cup of boiling water and stir until sugar dissolves. Add thyme, stir and let cool. After two hours, strain the solids and add vinegar to the liquid. Bottle and keep refrigerated, shaking every now and again. Keeps for months.

As a member of Clan 2 I have certain responsabilities.
You guys have a leader, or have you been left adrift?

just looking around to see if any friendships or such are evolving
I see the ghost and the duchess are still chatting
mister moggy seems to have his eyes on Suzi
the old indian and rusty are holding hands now
a very peaceful opening for the tavern on the board
the bong room is like a seven on the richter scale
cheers!!!

I'm at a table in the back, negotiating my month off in Sept-Oct in the backwoods of Nevada. They wanna send me a parachute and a voucher for spare room on a C-130. And all the Captain Morgan I can get down. At least I can bring my paired Glocks. Gonna need a new pair of NBs, I can see that coming.

If I get loud, just send more rum. Bacardi Limon is fine. 151 is better. On the house is best. 😉
