Well, looking at Gertrude's last day here (Nov 12 2022), it seems he resigned all of his games (12).
I'd have to say his initial absence was surely not death.
And I heard Woofwoof died too.

In “our” London (Ontario) there is a competing tavern/bar called Th Barking Frog. Anyone heard of such a noise from a frog? I’m thinking that maybe the owners of it may have been here, in our establishment, had a few too many of our alcoholic offerings and came up with the, unusually, odd name.🤔
