What I didn't have was the ability to work solely on my own, without my boss and my colleagues. I wanted to see things in motion, sort of, and that was needed at the time. There are hardly any secretaries left, they are redundant.
I think he was hinting that I was never nice, then I could be wrong on that.

I think you'd have made a great secretary. I noticed you can type quite quickly more so than some others on this site.
