For Muffy's sake have fun. Work is always going to be balls for the vast majority of people. While I'm horrible at taking my own advice, we've got to try to work to live not live to work.
Recently an associate of mine at a local power plant killed himself. Totally out of the blue from my perspective, happily married, kids, repected, good job, worked probably too hard. Life is already to short to be taken this seriously. Despair over work, bills, and other man made BS is a killer.
All I know is that for the first time in 7 weeks I spent the whole weekend with my wife, lounged by the pool with a cooler of beer, played fetch the fake duck with my yellow lab and basicically did absolutely nothing productive and was happier for it. Next weekend is tropical drink weekend and work can blow me.
I say F work, live life.
overworked and underpaid is being a mother, on call 24-7, NO pay!
But the fringe benifits make it all worth it. No amount of money in the world could replace the satisfaction of doing something you love to do. 😀
I would rather work for $5/hour and love my job than work for $20/hour and hate every min. of it.
Those pesky bill seem to always mess up the works though don't they. 😠:'(🙁😠
