Being in favour of means tested fuel payments has nothing to do with sticking up for the labour party. (Who I have never voted for). You alone have politicised the issue.

The shame is all yours. Money should go to where it is needed most. (Pensioners in genuine hardship and other struggling groups).

No idea why you are not getting it. The winter fuel payment 'is' means tested by way of eligibility being determined by means tested benefits (such as pension credit).

It isn't scrapping the winter fuel payment. It has become means tested like almost every other benefit.
