The truth and reconciliation thread

Canada set up a “Truth and Reconciliation Commission (not thread)” back in 2008...and the beat goes on. Each side’s Truth is the other’s Lie and so the beat goes on and on and on and on. Will the “Truth” ever come out? Well it sure looks like at least a modicum of it may be surfacing.🤞

When I was young there was a game called 'Truth or Consequence'. My neighbours were my age and we were many, boys and girls, born during the 1940's. We had to choose truth or consequence when asked, and when we picked 'truth' we had to be absolutely honest, and of course the question was 'Who are you in love with?' Very embarrassing when that person was also in the game. If we chose 'Consequence' then we had to do what we were told to, e.g. 'Kiss Thomas for 20 seconds starting now!' It hardly ever happened that the boys didn't want to be kissed, or the girls for that matter. 🙂

Well, I’m seeing “some” truth but little reconciliation, unless of course it’s being done in private.🤔
