After quarrel between frontman Feargal Sharkey and the rest ofthe band, he refused to join them for the reunion, so they hired new singer, DJ Paul McLoone.

was it any good without Feargal? I think an amazing gig would be Stiff little fingers.

I feared what new singer could do before I first saw them, since the videos on youtube were not promising. But McLoone's voice is vibrating a she imitates Sharkey.

What makes me think it'd been better had they kept them to themselves?

The Undertones in Amsterdam
I saw The Undertones in Hemel Hempstead and in Dunstable in approximately 1980. All these years later I am intrigued to realize that "Undertones" sounds similar to "Dunstable", and "Hempstead" sounds a lot like "Amsterdam". Furthermore, the time gap is 36 years: and 3!? If it ain't half of 6, don't you know? And - yes - all this ain't "half" strange too. What could these coincidences mean?
