...so i wake up this morning and peek outside, and guess what? there's an inch of snow on the ground! i quickly get dressed, and go to breakfast. except to get to breakfast i have a hundred yard walk. in the snow!!!

when i get outside, i discover that it's raining. heavily. i have a half mile walk to my building. in melting snow. i have no waterproof shoes. that was almost 3 hours ago. i still can't feel my toes...

I was about to say I'm glad I'm at the other end of the country in Cornwall.
But just as I clicked on Reply & Quote, it started snowing here too.
It's bloody March!
Why can't we have winter weather in winter any more?

It is winter! We've had 8-12 inches of snow in New Hampshire today, with more expected tonight, stop your grumbling!

It is warm and dry and pleasant today. Bright blue sky, lots of sun. The trees are greening and blooming, the wild flowers are blooming, the grass is green and I think I will go fishing. :-)

I live in Michigan, USA. We normally get 9-18 inches of snow but THIS YEAR we've already had 60 inches! Yeah, records are being broken.
