The truth is that he is a walrus living on an iceberg. He has had those delusions about being human for a long time. Now his delusions seem to have turned even worse.

Don't start with me on weather. I got called back from my trip early so I could help my parents. Our town lost its power and a snowstorm prevented crews from fixing the lines. Overnight temperatures were so low that our school needed to be used as a shelter. Firetrucks were going all through the town, there was a robbery, it sucked!

I need some sympathy . . .

The next few days are supposed to be:

Friday: Mostly Cloudy, Hi 41°F (5°C)
Saturday: Partly Cloudy, Hi 39°F (4°C)
Sunday: ...[text shortened]... ies (12-13°C), and maybe even 60 (16°C) on Thursday. Woo hoo!

How are things where you are?
too windy...fishing on hold.

Somehow, I overlooked your post last night. Sounds right chilly in Manchester. Is that typical this time of year, or are you having a cold spell? I thought jolly 'ol England was warmer than that.

The early part of next week they're calling for the low fifties (12-13°C), and maybe even 60 (16°C) on Thursday. Woo hoo!
Well, we hit 42 today, one degree higher than predicted, but it grew progressively chillier as the day progressed. It's just at freezing out there right now. No big changes in the forecast. Update looks like this:

Saturday: Partly Cloudy, Hi 40°F (4°C)
Sunday: Partly Cloudy, Hi 48°F (9°C)
Monday: Partly Cloudy, Hi 56°F (13°C)
Tuesday: Partly Cloudy, Hi 50°F (10°C)
Wednesday: Chance of Rain, Mostly Cloudy Hi 51°F (11°C)
Thursday: Mostly Sunny, Hi 60°F (16°C)
Friday: Partly Cloudy, Hi 59°F (15°C)

Looks like a pretty mild week coming up - average high this time of year is 42°F (6°C). (I think I incorrectly stated it as 46, yesterday.)

I know how much you all care about the weather here.
