Freedom is a state of mind, you're talking about regime change.

Freedom is the absence of tyranny in which you and I may excercise choice and free will. Comes at a price... blood, treasure and vigilance.

Freedom is where there is no suffering. No suffering is where people have let go of all their clinging and their attachments.

Freedom is, therefore, letting go of all the things you think you need and letting go of the things you really don't need!

Letting go, if you get yourself into the right state of mind, costs nothing!

You make some very good points here about being free from material things. But the Freedom Bob is talking about is different.

"... blood, treasure, vigilance and an informed electorate."
