Well, you don't see that the lights are on. In fact, even if the light particles might travel away from the car, there is not much on which the light particles bounce on, for you to see it, to notice the lights are on.

And I think your headlights will warm up a lot...

Of course not, i think; the speed of light is not the maximum speed of the light by definition, only the maximum speed it can reach by itself. It gets its excessive speed from the moving car.
