1. Choose a work college who uses a standard Windows desktop background (preferably one who sits near you).
2. Take image and put into an animated gif generator (many are free, google can help with this...)
3. Find a suitable scary picture, something like this for example... http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gpSCsLAX4_4/Ti6JpGh7QtI/AAAAAAAAASY/pv5LfMqOcNs/s1600/the-exorcist.73209.jpg
4.Open animated gif software and create an animation 100 or so frames in length.
5.set the first 98 frames of your animation to be a repeat of the windows background you chose in step 2.
6.Set the last two frames of your animation to be your chosen scary picture.
7.find a suitable moment to replace your victims background with your animation.
8. Sit back and wait for the poor unsuspecting fool to get the fright of their life!
This is quite a long stay sort of a prank, pranksters shouldn't get frustrated waiting for this one to come off. Most people don't leave their desktop up with no windows open very often or for very long usually so you should be prepared to wait as long as it takes. I personally waited two months for my poor friend to shriek out in terror but it was worth it so stick with it... 😉
