There are concrete ramifications...

There are concrete ramifications to Marcus Aurelius' observation that "Our lives are what our thoughts make us."

Whether on the rugged high road of maturity or still in protracted emotional infancy in some nursery or sandbox,

individual actions are the blossom of our deepest thoughts. What's on the line is our happiness. Please discuss.

Which one of these fine categories have you placed yourself in Chuckles?

A) The rugged high road of maturity.
B) The protracted emotional infancy in some nursery or sandbox.

I'll give you a hint, you're not Marcus Aurelius.

i know you from block 14, marion prison. you may be fooling everyone else but
i know you have not turned over a new leaf.

you were indicted for running a psychiatric scam at the old folks home and you are trying to do the same thing here.

so, Marcus Aurelius is your new philosophical victim? you just never tire of the name-dropping do you? well, i guess if he was still around he would adopt a stoic attitude toward whatever distortion of his work you can come up with. i have to admit, your parabolic and semi-literate readings of the greats give me a great deal of amusement.

If our lives are what our thoughts make us,then what makes our thoughts truly determines who we are.
