I wouldn't take house as my doctor...he only plays one on TV...I might get hurt if he was my surgeon.

Doctors who major on "Oh, Dear, dear, everything will be okay" bedside manners recieved C's in med school and are doing their defensive

best to avoid incorrect diagnosis and/or malpractice lawsuits. Some perform surgeries with a textbook in one hand. I'd take House any day.
You must know about Dana Farber Cancer institute? Hope and happiness are key in healing GB. Tell a person they have a week to live or they'll never walk again and they just might believe you.

TV DR House was alluded to merely as a corrective counterpoint to Phab's naive preference for Dr Feel Good. Many things worse than 'hurt'.

Nothing says YOUR RONG like bringing up a fictional TV show.

You buy that, you will buy anything. Sure, making terminal patients comfortable is important. Will to live comes from within. Who in their

right mind wants to be lied to on their deathbed, or in bed making love, or in bed with a company promising you a career or on a forum?

Remove the swine. Set it to one side, without global complaining, same as you do with bones when dining on fish. You'd reject my denial.

Good defensive move/conversation dismissal. Guessed wrong in thinking House might relate to your media saturated frame of reference.

You're missing the point. You don't have to lie or ridicule someone to help them. There is power in positive thoughts, quit trying to belittle everyone for what they say.

You call it complaining, I call it communication... something you've shown time and again you lack skills in.

Now you assume I'm media saturated?

I watch History Channel, Discovery, and a bit of Stargate or Star Trek when I get a chance. Perhaps some CSI only if I get caught up in the first 5 mins.

What makes you think I'm some kind of couch potato tube head? You really are outrageous GB. You don't know me, GB.

Would define:
1 - Constantly judging others
2 - Not upholding the standards we preach
3 - Not judging ourselves by the standards we preach
4 - Not wanting to learn from others
5 - etc, etc, etc...

as a sign of character strength?

Really no need for you to explain. We're both still growing up and in stature and favor with man and god. One day we'll sustain a conversation.
