1. Avoid condensation in the kitchen - slightly opening a kitchen window will help an extractor fan work more effectively by providing a source of fresh air to draw in, facilitating the removal of humid, or smoky air.
2. Reduce energy use - when boiling beans (which can take 40 minutes) or veg. Make use of the latent heat by turning the pan off a while or taking the pan away from the hob and wrapping it in a towel for an hour, then complete the boiling. Also bulk cook rice, greens, curries etc and save portions in the fridge or freezer.
3. Reduce plastic use and save water - buy a stainless steel inset bowl for your sink which will last forever and is safer than nasty, eroding, plastic bowls. Also great for transferring water. I pour any non detergent water on my front garden fruit & veg.
4. Avoid wasting water - rather than washing a few mugs in the sink save rinsed, dirty dishes in the empty dishwasher until you have a decent pile to wash in the sink or a fully stacked dishwasher.
5. Keep flour in a sealed storage jar to avoid weevils.
6. Use a permanent marker to write the date on opened cartons like cream or passata before putting in fridge.

Make your own pizza. For the love of God, learn to make your own pizza.
Have you ever ‘tasted’ a Domino’s pizza? … HORRIBLE 🤢

Once you've made your own pizza (including base) you will never go back to shop bought pizza.
Egg on a pizza works well. (Boiled and sliced).
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidI ordered a variety pack of Cotswold flours during lockdown which included their pizza flour. I used fresh yeast, was fab!
Yuck.
