A: the Grimm Reaper's job, when you boil it all down, is to give life meaning; it's the finite nature of life that makes it such a wondrous and precious experience. In this respect the Grimm Reaper is good at his job, even if his inevitable turning up on one's doorstep might be a bit disconcerting when it happens.

Q: How many Gigabytes will you get on the biggest available flash drives in 20 years from now?

A: If I knew what a Gigabyte was I might be able to give an intelligent answer but as I don't I'll take a flyer on a guess and say 27.

Q: What's a Gigabyte?

Q: What's a Gigabyte?
A: That is of course an excellent question but a far far better question is

Q: Is the human race starting to shuffle itself into two breeds: those who have to ask "What's a Gigabyte?" and those who become philosophical when they hear people ask it?

A: There would be far less youtube videos.

Q: Aside from the fact that it suits the capitalist team owners and investors, why are U.S. sports leagues and franchises ~ a substantial and lucrative industry ~ run along such socialist lines?

A: Franchises possibly getting [1] promoted and [2] demoted to and from league levels above and below; not ideal for investors who don't want to risk anything substantial while raking in cash, but a preferable application of the spirit of survival of the fittest surely.

Q: Surely?

Q: Surely?
A: Not sure that that happens over here (North America) like it seems to do in football (soccer) overseas. Glasgow Rangers may be a good example.

Oooops.😲🙄 forgot the question.

A: So often, yes, it does. It also too often smothers idealism.

A: Oh ya. I tended to be a bit too trusting. Twice bitten, forever shy.
