A: As would be expected there was opposition both with the public and with parliamentarians. Debates occurred and in the end a vote in parliament adopted the new (current) flag.

A: I don't know what the stats are, and I am personally alienated by the idea of an arranged marriage, but I have spoken to Indians about it and one prominent point they make ~ especially women ~ makes sense: i.e. that it brings two families together united by a marriage they both condone and encourage, and the material and psychological support (rooted in that) for the family as it raises children ~ in the culture as it stands in India ~ often makes for a strong and enduring union from a practical point of view when romance may have come and gone, or never been particularly strong at any point. Of course, when arranged marriages perpetuate unhappiness or even abuse etc. then all that goes out the window.

A: I have a few people coming after me at the moment but I have a feeling that if I surrendered they'd be at loss for what to post.

Q: Whether one likes U2's music or not, the HBO concert broadcast of their 2015 concert in Paris is absolutely amazing, innit?

A. VHS, I think 8 track is on the way out.

A: Unfortunately there was only one, the Yamaha CD-S2033-1/3 but because there were some technical issues. The YCD Superspeed Differentiator would overheat so they removed it, for obvious safety reasons.
Q: Can any question be answered logically?

A: 'Ever' is a strong word, Drew - there is a player here at RHP who helped me when I was sad and confused after a tragic experience, and what he said changed a lot for me - 'enlightened' me, you might say. I will always be grateful for that.

Q: Feel ready for Christmas...?

Q: Feel ready for Christmas...?
A: As ready as any of the Christmas' past.

Q: Are you ever REALLY ready for anything, because of that, ever present unknown?
