@ponderable saidYou accused divegeester of lying about the thread and trying to smear Kevin Eleven; when it was you who was doing the false witness and smearing thing.
In fact Ihad read and posted in that thread and was under the impression, that the main problam was the conversation between @FMF, @divegester and @pompas.
I has neot seen the end of it, and removed my errouness post. I apologize for jumping to conlcuions in my (now deleted) post.
Kevin Eleven smears himself, every day. You defending him in a Suziannesque way is you selling yourself way short.
Ghost of a Duke is right to see you as a relatively dependable person. But this does not mean you are always principled when you try to intervene.
@fmf saidBizarre that you would link that to the Ghost Chamber.
Maybe so. But the moderator had a mini-meltdown when he deleted posts by not just @pompas but numerous other posts by other people that did not warrant deletion: dozens of posts in a row. The thread did not get deleted though.
Meanwhile, there was an unrelated exchange later on that same thread between Kevin Eleven from Ponderable's and Ghost of a Duke's "Ghost Chamber" and divegeester who had been standing up to the racist @pompas. Then the thread was deleted.
Did I not personally challenge @pompas with every post I made in the thread concerned with his Christian-bashing nonsense?
@ponderable saidRemoving it after it has been replied to is poor form. Own it. Apologize for it. Leaving the replies to it dangling there is poor form.

@chaney3 saidDives Missus could be a Ladyboy....the stubble is a dead give away.
Near the end, Dive and Kevin Eleven debating gay issues and the desires for ladyboys. Maybe that's why it was removed?
I only noticed the thread was gone because someone posted a funny joke and I went back to read it again.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidPonderable was, bizarrely trying to defend Kevin Eleven, and you are bizarrely trying to defend Ponderable. Kevin Eleven uses comments about things like murder, suicide, mental health, and child abuse for his "banter". And yet he is in the Ghost Chamber. Back in 2018-2020, you would not have tolerated it. Now you do.
Bizarre that you would link that to the Ghost Chamber.
Ponderable can stand on his record here in these forums. If he says it was a misunderstanding, then it was. It's way too easy to drop into a forum thread, misinterpret what's actually happening, go off and write a post, while the posts keep getting added to. I've made a post that was valid, sent it off, then checked the new posts that just got in before it and been forced to delete my own post straight away. Doesn't this happen to all of us?
@kewpie saidAgreed.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidSo what?
Did I not personally challenge @pompas with every post I made in the thread concerned with his Christian-bashing nonsense?
Kevin Eleven egged Executioner Brand and reservation247 on [and now he's here again as @pompas] and cynically tried to weaponize his alleged mental health issues for the sake of "banter". I thought that was a red line for you.
And yet, there he is, in your Ghost Chamber and Ponderable is out and about trying to smear divegeester in order to defend Kevin Eleven.
What does it matter if you said stuff to @pompas? It's irrelevant.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidPonderable? Well, not in this case. He's already apologized for accusing divegeester of being a liar.
I don't. I see him as an entirely trustworthy person.
@kewpie saidI don't think you should if the post has been replied to. The original post, the calling out, and the acknowledgement of error, all still intact, is the most eloquent way to see supposed "misunderstandings" rectified. If you catch your own error quickly and delete it before people respond, that's a different matter. I have done that many, many times.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI think accusing someone of lying when they weren't ~ or when he couldn't have known ~ and having instincts that make one want to rush to the defence of a vile and malicious poster like Kevin Eleven, are major demerit points on the "trustworthiness" front. I hope Ponderable returns to normal.
No. He apologized for jumping to conclusions. (We all do that). That has no bearing on his trustworthiness.
