Does anybody else out there get annoyed with thread hijackers?

This community often posts interesting threads only for some of our comrades to go off at a tangent with completely unrelated material or end up bickering about useless facts.

I’m a bit guilty of this too (only on the odd occasion I hasten to add).

Does anybody have a view on this?

Interesting. What do you prefer to use against lower rated players?

I was having a joke (probably with myself!) by hijacking the thread 🙂

In reality I have only just started looking at openings. My method up until now has been to play "Reaction Chess" i.e. make it up as you go along (as a look at any of my games would show).

I suppose this has the advantage that no one can work out what opening you are playing but I constantly find myself being chased around the board whilst the opposition develops their pieces far more effectively than me.....

I think kittens are really cute. I used to hate broccolli, now I like. I still hate cauliflower though.

I always play the same openings pretty much. My philosophy is to know just enough solid openings so that I can respond to pretty much every common move, and then play according to principle once I get out of my 'mental book'.

This thread has been officially hijacked. PWNED

I love Kittens, depending how they are prepared.... hate broccolli, and tolerate cauliflower with Italian dressing on it....

No this thread is not going to Cuba. This thread won't respond to terrorism.

May a thousand kangeroo fleas infest Feivel's armpits!
