Its sort of funny. If I'm in a tournament, even if it's a one day T/O i tend to give people that second day. If it's a clan match, I have my clan members e-mail me about any time outs that come up, and we deal with them on the case by case basis, and we are normally very forgiving. I had an Army national Guard drill this weekend. I didn't even go 48 hours without making a move (it was like 36) AND I had my vacation flag up. And people took a bunch of time outs. Makes you feel like not being so gentle when you have time outs come up...

actually, I remember that situation skeeter.. you hadn't moved after a couple reminders, even though you had been making moves every day. And it wasn't the first time a time out had come up in those games, even though you move every day. AND it was a tournament. If you hadn't been moving without taking moves in our matches AND if it was only the first time the time out had come up, then I wouldn't have taken them. PLUS I had checked out your recent history, and you had taken time outs. In fact, you logged in, took time outs, and STILL didn't move in our matches. So frankly , whatever you have to say about time outs or living by a sword, doesn't interest me. Does that mean Behavior breads behavior breads behavior?

Whatever, apart from the fact that 80% of it is total fiction, I didn't write moaning, grizzling posts to the forums. I took it on the chin and moved on.
So build a bridge jcanwhine, and get over it, quickly. ARINN

LOL... maybe if you spent more time playing your games then reading the forums, people wouldn't time out on you ;0) And I will do what I want, and if that is posting something in a forum, I will. Thank you.

Hmmm... you have been t/o'd more in one tourney than I have in all my RHP time. Given your rating and looking at mine perhaps the pot should stop calling the kettle black. Time over the board improves the chess, not time posting in forums and you from all indications do neither well.

perhaps you would be better to have longer time-outs, like 7-21 days...

again, I was T/Oed four times this weekend, while i was doing time for my country. that was the only time I believe that i have been timed out. And what does you getting timed out have to do with you taking time outs? Regardless, good for you and your higher ranking. And good for you twisting my user name. 🙂

if you dont like T\O than dont play timmytoilet , i swear he watches a clock and counts down the seconds , mouse poised over the postion where the skull appears just to claim the win. He timed me out in the rookie challange after only one move . 😕

HELP! Is there any way to stop the auto T/O from kicking in? I'm playing Kalte Sterne and he has his vacation setting on, but it's the quickfire and I would like to finish the games, not win by T/O.
