Do you guys tip the dustman/postman etc at Christmas?

If so, how much?

Do you tip when you get a haircut, or a pizza?

dustman - £1 for everytime they show up when they're supposed to
postman - £100, subtracting £10 for every letter they've lost
Pizza - you've got to be joking!
haircut - i do my own...

I tip the pizza guy a coupla bucks.

I've never thought to tip the postman before. Then again, I've rarely seen our postman.

Mainly, I tip taxi drivers, waiters, and barkeeps.

haircut=a couple of dollars
pizza=a couple of dollars
postman=nothing, delivers to mailbox not door
waiters/waitress=At least 15% of total bill depending on service, usually 20% though if not more!

It must be for those added extras that he provides.
But seriously, I tip taxi drivers if they are friendly, helpful, courteous or just get me from A to B without messing about.
If you get a taxi frequently, and you tip well it can also make the drivers more willing to choose the job from your house if they recognise the address.
