Told ya.

A trusted friend suggested I ask why this "inane" thread didn't receive a single response. What should I tell him?

Does this thread have any significant content?

Is this an attempt to further recognise notoriety in words that don't cumber some? 😉

1) No. Divesting it of even the least toenail of substantive content was the whole idea. 2) No, not at all. It's motive was experimental, putting out the fleece so to speak to see if an inane and vacuous general forum thread (that required zero span of attention) might hold appeal for those who launch and post to similar one liner threads every day. It's purpose was ulterior. For laughs alone, thought I'd take a stab at proving a second and third dear friend wrong. That's all as far answering your questions goes.

Tentative conclusion I've reached is that whether or not a thread on any topic or level of thought required succeeds or fails depends almost entirely on the personality and popularity of the RHP Member involved. Subliminal comfort zone criteria in play, pitifully, seems to be "am I likely to be threatened by this thread's author if I reply" and "Is he or she our kind". Have I learned from having dabbled around the past few days with this little experiment? Yes. Will I fool with any more such time wasting experiments with the social and political behavior of human beings within a crowded cyberspace room again? No.

That's all, Mike. Thanks for your timely post on a beautiful 'Sunday Morning Going Down' on the USA side of the pond.

Tell him to stop making you ask dumb questions.

Not my style, Andy. Let him perish, if he wishes to, in the morass of his own troubled mind and frustrated soul.
