Actually, they have won, but the media spin it to look otherwise. Many more Americans are killed by Americans each year (about 11,000) than by terrorists and Iraqi "insurgents" combined. But to the American public it seems it is okay for Americans to be killed as a result of domestic crime, drug use and car accidents, but not by foreigners.
