I remember watching this film back in 1997 and thinking it was the Bond franchise losing the plot. So a power-crazy mega-rich eccentric owns the biggest world media channel and uses it to try and control the world?
PAH! ridiculous! stuff for the tweeting birds.
@divegeester saidNot everyone realizes Ian Fleming penned the first lines of his James Bond novels nearly 80 years ago. Bond is product of the cold war era that ended in the early 90's when the Soviet Union collapsed. Creating new villains to replace the old one is no easy task. Frankly, I'm surprised it lasted this long.
