you might be right Mr Iron is amazing!

but then look how casually dscp seems to just float up ... and up ...

and i think bbarr is still learning (i bet he will be learning til the day he stops breathing )

and i also suspet there are some others lurking in the shadows - but you can count on me - it will not be me at the top!

I am still learning, which I think is a common sentiment amongst most people who are serious about chess. It isn't false modesty when I tell you that David is a better player than I am (if you doubt that, look at my record against him). I'm thankful for having him as a consistent opponent; I've learned a lot from our games. That said, both David and I suffer when our game load exceeds twenty to thirty concurrent games, and that places limitations on the rapidity with which we gain rating points. Neither of us are particularly concerned with ratings, however, so our game load limitations aren't too worrisome. IronMan31, like Edmond Dantes before him, has the rare ability to play an incredible amount of concurrent games with consistent strength, so I assume that he will continue to make gains in the rankings. My current games with IronMan31 are really interesting (to me, at least), and I wish him all the best.

The "Iron"man is exceptional. I hope he may see the top one day. what ever happened to San Lazaro, he was doing so well and then suddenly went off the deep end

dscp is good but i managed a draw from him,

Game 447288

Unlike the complete crushing defeat i recieved from the Ironman

Game 492136

Some might say 'ahh, what would you know' and i would have to agree, i am a bit of a patzer but in my oppinion there is no comparison, Ironman #1, just a matter of time.😉😛

Wow, that's a long quote. Anyways, I have been watching both games you and IronMan have been playing for a couple weeks now and can honestly say it's two of the more interesting games I've seen played by two online players, espicially the game where he plays white. I wish you the best of luck in finally putting a smudge on his squeaky-clean record. 😀

I wish I had played it there. Then I could have kept my two points and everyone that sold GAWI shares would be that much more happy with me. 🙂

my chess is defo a case of the more i learn the less i know. must admit i do follow yre and DT's games very closely. 8-4 and a lot of draws, i think the 2 of u are very closely matched.
