August 5th 1945- another A-bomb was dropped this time on Nagasaki over 125,000 dead.
People who survived will then eventually died of Radiation poisioning or other illness.

ummmm... maybe he feels a need to accomplish more in life to hide this and becomes one of many who live at an extreme. i'm not an expert so i don't really know...
