Goes without saying that the original 1986 version is far better then the S&M version (although Battery is awfully fast on the S&M) ...
S&M doesn't stand for what I think it does, does it?

Those songs are mostly instrumetal, if you liked COB's intrumental parts then you will like cacophony.
Their lead guitarist, Jason becker is a genius with a very interesting/sad life story: http://www.geocities.com/soho/cafe/5200/jbstory.html
I did like the power of COB (am just not a fan of death metal) and even though the melodic aspect of COB is outstanding in my opinion, I can't warm up to them...

But I will def. give cacophony a try (sounds good)

in no particular order,

-Hallowed be thy Name - Iron Maiden
-Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits
-Paradise by the Dashboard Lights - Meatloaf (karaoke. me as Meatloaf. my roomate, jacko, as the female. hilarious lyrics. ahh, the memories...)
-i wanna be - the Proclaimers (i'm a student, and scottish. what did you expect?...)
-Going to Calafornia - Led Zepplin
-Dignity - Deacon Blue

i was gonna stick some AC/DC and the like in, however figured that they were good tunes but lacked something lyric-wise ergo were not good songs...and i know that that i put 6, but i slipped deacon blue in on the side. he's a street cleaner. the lowest of the low. but hey-who cares? he's gonna buy a boat! and guess what? he's gonna call it dignity! waw...😛

Wow I've never met anyone else who liked the great gig in the sky. It drives most of the people I know out of the room, and strangely enough I'm listening to darkside of the moon right now.

strangely enough i dont count it as my fav album (certainly in top three though) but the song (if you can all it that) just evokes such raw emotion. f'n great! 😵

It is an awesome song though. And still a great album. And yes it's a song. I've always described it as singing in emotion and not words
