"Paper Planes" by MIA
"Low" by Flo Rider
"Mad World" by Gary Jules
"Cinder and Smoke" by Iron & Wine/Calexico
"Tired of Me" by Jesu
"Precious ...[text shortened]... 31-4428-90b5-39b9fce81b93/Assemblage-23---Disappoint-(Funker-Vogt-RMX)
Lots of good stuff here! I forgot about MIA.

Here's my favourites songs of 00's so far I can think of now. Hope you'll enjoy.

UNKLE - Burn My Shadow
http://uk.

Massive Attack - False Flags
http://uk.

Glasvegas - Geraldine
http://uk.

The Enemy - This Song Is About You
http://uk.

Feist - Mashaboom
http://uk.

The Libertines - Can't Stand Me Now
http://uk.

Belle and Sebastian - The Blues Are Still Blue

Snow Patrol - Open Your Eyes

Edit: Though the chances of these songs entering a commercial CD made to entertain future generations and us aging youths reminding 2000s era may seem rather slim somehow.. good songs I do like them and will remind me of this period in future I think if I do happen to live so long.

First song on Bright Eyes' 'I'm Wide Awake. It's Morning.'

Bright Eyes - Four Winds

I'm going backwards in time the more I build my collection.
Aren't they a religious cartoon? Are you listening to a cartoon soundtrack?

Is that the official video? If yes, it's a bit weird that they use Claude Lelouch's "C'était un rendez-vouz"...

I miss Paris. 😞

Yes I think so. That's UK edition. I've never seen the film.

Paris is a pretty place I wish if I live there.. .. well hopefully one day, you never know.

Surely someday, someone is going to release an album of the best songs from the 00's. Songs that supposedly capture the mood of the decade. This compilation, as most are, will probably be terrible, with just a few decent tracks.

If you could make your own "Best of the 00's" compilation, what songs might be on it?
Ani Difranco - "Self-evident"
